With Daylight Savings starting this weekend, you will notice your houseplants sprouting new shoots. Now is a good time to transplant houseplants if they need it. How do you know if they need it? If the roots are bursting thru the pot or if the plant is top heavy and falling over, then it might be time. Some plants, like orchids, won’t flower unless they are root bound. Best bet, call Countryside and check with our greenhouse professionals before transplanting.
Just like people, houseplants could use a little boost from winter. Treat them to a well balanced fertilizer. In the Garden Center you will find Jack’s Classic 20-20-20, perfect for indoor and outdoor plants!
