FULL MOON = FREEZE WARNING
Low temperatures tonight are expected to be 26 degrees which is a HARD FREEZE, not just a light frost as we experienced this morning.
If you are planning on planting your gardens today, please wait until at least Monday when danger of freeze is over.
Instead, acclimate your new young plants by keeping them outside during the day and into the garage at night. This allows them to get used to being exposed to cold and wind.
Be sure to keep them well watered. Dry plants will have more freeze damage than ones that are well watered.
Lay black plastic down in the areas you are wanting to plant so the sun will radiate through and warm up the soil below for the root system to be warmer.
Happy Spring!
